Join us for DISCOVERÌýon Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This campus-wide event showcases the scholarship, creative activity, and intellectualÌýachievement of the John Carroll community with a particular emphasis on research. The tabs on this page are updated as events are scheduled and applications are processed.Ìý Please check back often for updated information on this year's event.
Students can present their work at the poster session, which will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on April 9 in the Dolan Center for Science & Technology Atrium. There will be two 45-minute sessions, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.Ìý
Applications will open on Monday, February 3, 2025.Ìý
The application deadline for presenting a poster has been EXTENDED and will close Friday, March 14, 2025.
The Poster Session is sponsored by Sherwin Williams.
Students who present posters have the option of entering the poster competition. $100 cash prizes will be awarded for the top poster in each of the following categories:

Business

Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

Professional Studies
To enter the competition, please submit your Poster Application and indicate that you wish to be entered into the Poster Competition.
Students can present their work during the conference-style live sessions scheduled throughout the afternoon of April 9th in presentation rooms in the Dolan Center for Science & Technology. Each session will be 60 minutes long and organized around a central theme. Students can present scholarly papers or participate in panel discussions on a given topic.Ìý Ìý
The application for oral presentations will open on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Calling all artists: Seeking entries that celebrate creative arts at JCU! Ìý
Students can submit their artwork in any visual media (paints, pencils, photography, fibers, sculpture, etc.). Submissions will be displayed in Grasselli Library & Breen Learning Center through the end of the semester.Ìý
